Yawman Partners with Xbox
Partnership with Xbox will unlock advanced capabilities for future products.
Carmel, Ind. – November 24, 2025 – Yawman™, maker of the revolutionary Arrow flight sim controller, is now a full partner with the Designed for Xbox Hardware program.
The newly formed partnership with Xbox further validates Yawman’s revolutionary vision to bring compromised flying controls to a handheld form factor.
“We’re honored to join the Xbox ecosystem and build on Yawman’s foundation to work hand in hand with Xbox,” said Yawman inventor and co-founder, Thomas Nield.
The Arrow, Yawman’s debut ultra versatile controller, still maintains its existing slate of compatible platforms across Windows, MacOS, Android and Linux operating systems. The partnership with Xbox will be an integral part of any future Yawman product development across a range of possible form factors and applications that unlock the maximum flexibility for flying where simmers want, when simmers want and the way simmers want.
“We’ve received amazingly positive feedback from our customers about the Arrow and the number one request is hardware that works seamlessly with the Xbox ecosystem. We promised we’ve been listening and this partnership with Xbox is the first essential step towards delivering on that commitment.”
The popular first-of-its-kind Arrow is available for worldwide purchase at yawmanflight.com, Sporty’s Pilot Shop, Aerosoft, The Gamesmen, Player1 Sim Gear, Mwave, and Gamer Gear Direct. The patented controller combines a complex yoke, throttle quadrant and mechanically-linked rudder pedals together in a handheld package. Priced at $199 MSRP, less than just one piece of advanced sim hardware.
Designed, manufactured and packaged tariff-free in the USA, the patented Yawman is full of flight sim firsts: The technology inside the Arrow unlocks intuitive rudder control with mechanically-linked triggers that make flight possible in the toughest of simulated crosswinds, adding adept maneuverability while taxiing. The integrated trim wheel gives you the realism that’s previously only been available on larger and more expensive hardware.

More about the Yawman Arrow
In addition to controls in pitch, roll and yaw, the Arrow includes a total of seven fully-programmable axes, plus two unique vernier-style engine controls like those found on some small piston-powered aircraft. Those same controls are also perfect for deploying large jet spoilers and thrust reversers.
The integrated trim wheel maximizes your realism, along with two shoulder bumper buttons, a five-button D-pad, a five-way hat switch for independent viewing angles and video recording, and a multifunction six pack of programmable buttons that allow for endless combinations to control everything from autopilot functions to aircraft systems.
The Arrow is fully compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 & 2024 on PC, Laminar Research X-Plane on PC, macOS and Steam Deck, Infinite Flight for Android, Lockheed Martin Prepar3D, DCS World – and more – as well as non-simulation games that support HID joystick controls. The Arrow is not compatible with iOS devices or Xbox consoles.
The Arrow requires one available USB port and weighs just 7.83 ounces or 222 g, ideal for comfortable short or long-haul flying and easy portability, with no need for batteries or charging.
