Trim with the wheel or hat switch?

We designed the Arrow to operate with (at least) two excellent ways to control nose up and down trim. The wheel is great to match the ergonomic performance of equivalent hardware on aircraft like the Cessna C172, A2A Comanche, Diamond DA62, Beechcraft Bonanza and Cessna Caravan, for example. Notably all those aircraft have a trim wheel and you should definitely match those together for the relatively slower speed of flight.

Each also has electric trim control on the yoke or sidestick (save for the Comanche). In the case of business jets, Boeings or even those GA aircraft with electric trim controls, we recommend setting trim on the up/down controls of the hat switch.
